I have been actively enjoying nature photography only since 2003. About a year later I decided to try painting with acrylics.

The two hobbies go well together since it is much easier to paint at home with the photographs of my trips.

Some of my favorite places have been the Tremont area of the Smokey Mountains, the south Cumberland, Everglades National Park and local parks like Bowie Park in Fairview Tennessee, the Natchez Trace and waterfalls anywhere. I also get many good pics right in our yard and around the Spring Hill area. Since I have not had formal training, I am blessed when some of my best memories are brought to canvas to share with others and thank God whenever the paints do things that amaze me.

My work has been displayed at Bowie Park, Fairview, TN, at Eagles Nest in Banner Elk North Carolina as well as The Land of The Blue Mist gallery and at the Spring Hill Library.
